The Windsor Spitfires opened the 2009-10 OHL regular season at home in front of a capacity crowd that celebrated the presentation of the the Wayne Gretzky Trophy, the J. Ross Robertson Trophy, and the Memorial Cup. Exactly one week later, the Spitfires host the Erie Otters at the WFCU Centre Thursday night where they will raise their championship banners to the rafters.
Following the Spitfires dream season, local stars Harry Young and Eric Wellwood celebrated the team's success with the entire community during the Spitfires Community Tour of Champions presented by Tim Hortons.
