Nine OHL Players Invited to Team USA Evaluation Camp

Toronto, ON  – USA Hockey out of Colorado Springs today announced that 12 players from the Canadian Hockey League including nine from the Ontario Hockey League have been invited to the 2009 U.S. National Junior Evaluation Camp in Lake Placid, N.Y., which runs from Aug. 7-15.

Participating players are candidates for the 2010 U.S. National Junior Team that will compete in the 2010 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship, from Dec. 26, 2009-Jan. 5, 2010, in Saskatoon and Regina, Sask.

OHL Players on the Roster include:

Goaltender:
Brandon Maxwell, Kitchener Rangers*

Defence:
John Carlson, London Knights
Adam Comrie, Saginaw Spirit
Beau Schmitz, Plymouth Whalers
Cam Fowler, Windsor Spitfires*

Forward:
AJ Jenks, Plymouth Whalers
Philip McRae, London Knights
Andrew Yogan, Erie Otters
Jeremy Morin, Kitchener Rangers*

*Maxwell, Fowler, and Morin are all committed to the Ontario Hockey League for the 2009-10 hockey season.
