Atlanta Thrashers Visit Dan Snyder Memorial Arena

November 5, 2009

The NHL's Atlanta Thrashers Hockey Club visited Elmira, ON, and held a practice at the brand new Dan Snyder Memorial Arena.  Snyder played four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Owen Sound Platers and one season with the Thrashers in 2002-03 before he passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  In 2004 the OHL renamed the Humanitarian of the Year award the Dan Snyder Memorial Trophy.  Video feature courtesy of Rogers TV.
